History of Drum and Bass and Jungle
Drum and Bass (D & B, DnB) is a music style that originated in the UK, often with a tempo around 160–180 BPM and, as the name suggests, includes various basslines. It is based on rhythm and sound design. So where did this style come from, what is its origin? Of course Amen Break! Amen is known as the DNA of DnB.
Amen Break
The soul-funk band The Winstons released a single called “Amen Brother” in 1969, using a 6-second drum loop for the song. This loop was named “Amen Break” in connection with the name of the track. Amen Break is the most sampled drum solo in music history and has taken its place in many songs. The drummer G.C.Coleman, who recorded this solo, is known to have died homelessly.

Breakbeat /Jungle Era
In the early 90s, Pirate Radios and runaway rave scenes were very famous in England. There was also a fondness for sound systems, where artists who had no money would play their tracks so that they could have their voices heard. Jungle music has originated in the times of pirate radio and rave. Jungle music can be defined as any music based on the Amen break at 150–165 BPM. Jungle is a style that is linked to genres such as jazz , ambient, reggae, dub, hip-hop and jungle is quite wide.It is not known why the name is jungle, but there are rumors that it was put by record companies. Names such as LTJ Bukem, Photek, Omni Trio, Goldie, Roni Size, Bailey, General Levy, Adam F are known as the pioneers of Jungle music. Names such as Konflict, Dillinja, Bad Company, Moving Fusion, Ed Rush & Optical; At the same time, record companies such as V Recordings, Virus Recordings, Renegade Hardware came to the fore.
Jump Up
In the mid-90s, next to techstep music, a more adrenaline style jump-up drum’n’ bass emerged. This style uses childish and funny bass, the goal is to set a melody from plain notes on a simple rhythm. In addition, it is possible to see the effect of Hip-Hop culture on Drum and Bass music in this style. DJ Hazard is one of the prominent names. PLAYAZ Recordings was one of the labels in the Jump Up of the 90s. Jump Up drum ’n’ bass; It plays quite a lot on UK stages nowadays, and has an effect in the creation of dubstep. Famous names and bands such as Kanine, Macky Gee, Hedex, Kage, SASASAS are still playing at festivals.
Neurofunk
Artificial drums, which emerged in the 2000s and adopted the pessimistic character coming from the spirit of techstep, are at the forefront. It is possible to see harmonic minor in the melody structure of the Neurofunk DnB, where sound design also finds its place to a great extent. Names such as CounterStrike, Gydra, Noisia, Zardonic (partially) and A.M.C are among the famous artists who are still listened to today. Liquid
Liquid drum and bass (a.k.a liquidfunk) is a calming DnB style that takes its essence from nature, sometimes with minimal romantic piano melodies, sometimes with intense ambient bass. Netsky, High Contrast, Commix, Calibre, Malaky, London Elektricity are the names that come to mind when Liquid DnB is mentioned. Hospital Records, whose CEO is London Elektricity, is a pioneer in the style of liquid DnB. In addition, a record company named Liquicity in the Netherlands organizes drum and bass festivals, primarily Liquid, in Amsterdam and different cities every year.

Aphex Twin (Richard D.
